D500 not going into TAT mode - GSM-Forum

Been trying to flash a D500 but I always get this message and have been unable to get the phone into TAT mode! Please HELP!

** Wait for Connect Request from Mobile...
** (POWER ON the PHONE!)
** Send '0x44' to SWIFT Chip
Bad Response from SWIFT Chip (0x81)
** Send '0x44' to SWIFT Chip
Bad Response from SWIFT Chip (0xFF)

All replies appreciated!

uoy can do this steps
,, dumb nor
,, format nand
,, then flash tfs file

shoooooooooooosh in deed

Thanks for the reply, shooosh

It won't let me do that since all the buttons are grayed out

I start corona downloader, connect cable to the phone, plug in battery, and click on start and switch the power button on the d500. It gives me these error messages

Bad Response from SWIFT Chip (0x81)
** Send '0x44' to SWIFT Chip
Bad Response from SWIFT Chip (0xFF)

and doesn't do anything else. All the buttons remain grayed out, so practically I can't do anything else.

So i don't know what is wrong,

try changing battery, i had a battery that was ok but didnt work with cable, after replacement of battery everything was ok

Nope, that doesn't work either, changed battery but still the same error, i suppose its a hardware problem then?

hey
what r u using to flash.
if twister ufs2, then connect phone without battery and it will enter TAT mode

Using corono downloader and the serial usb cable with the power attachment, I think it might be a flaw with the internal hardware as all other phones are being read and flashed ok.
