Hi,

I just flashed my set to F488ZHHJ1.rar, think its much better than my old DXHI2, now my phone doesnt "hang" on the widget screen anymore... i hope so!

and the new widgets are damn nice!!!.... love it!

Just 1 question, I downloaded the rar file that KMS108 provided, but within it there are 2 RC2 files, one (mid), and one (low), anyone know whats the difference?

I used the (low) one to flash, and so far so good... just wondering if I am missing anything on the (mid)....

Thanks!

Help a newbee

Hi, I bought a Tocco off Ebay unlocked (was on Orange) It was working fine on Vodafone until I tried to debrand using downloader v5.33 and SW Ver F480xxHD9 it would communicate with phone at first i.e 'Download start' - to - 'QcSbl' then 'Wait reset' then I'd get 'Serial port open error' after many attempts it eventually flashed the phone & all orange branding was removed but when I put my Vodafone sim in it froze to the sim. I'm unable to unlock it as it will not communicate with the unlock software & has reverted to orange only. I can charge the phone with the usb & use Samsung PC Studio all ok, just unable to get through this serial port open error issue.
Please any help would be most appreciated.

make sure there are no other program using the port, that means close any other programs e.g. PC suite.

This might help you all, its better than xxhf7 because it has more widgets... but other than that i didn't notice that much, better its good for that reason if nothing else.
Hope this helps!
I registered to say thank you to Milkman who has def delivered with his firmware post, and of coarse other people giving to this thread. I upgraded twice so far using this info and have been very happy each time.

Unless im mistaken I found a video editor application on J1 I don't remember being on F7!
