Samsung GT-I5700 unlock question - GSM-Forum

I have Samsung GT-I5700 which is locked with the user gesture code (it is needed to draw something on the screen before).
Is there any method to bypass this lock without loosing memory's content like messages?

follow this the same procedure but all messages will be deleted:

PROBLEM: PATTERN CODE

SOLUTION:

SINCE THE PHONE USED ANDROID OS I TRY THIS SOLUTION AND IT WORKS...

HOLD VOLUME UP AND DOWN THE PRESS POWER BUTTON THEN WAIT THE PHONE TO RESTART THEN RELEASE.....BE SURE THAT THE PHONE IS OFF AND YOU REMOVE THE SIM AND MEMORY CARD

THEN CHOOSE "DELETE ALL USER FILES" USING VOLUME KEY THEN PRESS POWER BUTTON

Yes, I mean pattern code.
But as you said this method deletes all messages what I don't want.

Anyway great thanx for the above suggestion.
