z500 insert sim card,weirdest problem ever.. - GSM-Forum

hi,i got 2 z500,they are from the italian operator "TIM".now the phones work when i put a TIM card but if i put a card from another operator it says:"insert sim card"

this doesnt look like an hardware problem since if the sim card reader doesnt work it cant recognize ANY sim card and also it can be a software problem since the phone is completely UNLOCKED

so really what can i do now?

this is killing me!

I think this is not damage caused by the hardware.

the evidence you have tried to enter the SIM card from TIM, the mobile phone and the card can be read by both
