Which type it uses? TransFlash? 256 size is allowed? Any experience?

If someone test, please post.

It takes a Transflash card yes, and a 256mb works on mine. I've yet to try a 512mb, so don't know about that, but I can't see a reason why it wouldn't.

yes there is some about Z500 it contains microSD (TransFlash) Card slot &
55 MB shared memory

Works fine with 256 and 512 mb transflash...
