omnia i900 security code.. - GSM-Forum

hi all,i got a omnia i900 which has a password that i have to remove since the customer doesnt remind it anymore,i tried with ustpro but i cant unlock it,i click unlock and then i plug the phone in the usb cable and immediatly turn the phone on,well after all this work the phone never gets recognized...perhaps its because it has the security code?i tried with the factory reset but they just dont work,i tried *2767*3855# in the keypad of the phone but i cant find * and # so i cant type it!

can please anybody give me a good help,thanks a lot in advance

u can try this (its for I8510 )

Enter test mode * # 0228 #. Press two times back then 6 and 1. Then reboot.
Your settings will be reseted to factory state, and user code will be 00000000

about I900
here is the hard reset solution

Hold the End and Send button lightly at the same time press Soft-Reset button with slylus and you will get hard reset menu. Just press call key and its done..

First: Phone must be off..!!!!!!
Second:call+return buttons +on ...at the same time
you will see are you to format...
Then press call button for ok...or return button to annulate..........
Don't forget the phone must be off with full batterie..

about I900
here is the hard reset solution

Hold the End and Send button lightly at the same time press Soft-Reset button with slylus and you will get hard reset menu. Just press call key and its done..

Samsung i900 Omnia hard reset

You can select this function under Main menu -> Settings -> System -> Hard Reset

or

Press and hold the send and end button then use the stylus to reset Samsung i900 Omnia

If the Hard Reset not working u have to have 70% of bateri charge if is smalest hard reset is not begining.

i think when you read with ust, ust give 2 codes, try one of those code.

with the phone on,i push call and end button and then i hit the reset button but the phone just always restarts normally,i never get the hard reset menu,what am i doing wrong?

P.S: when i hit the reset button i have to release the call and the end button or i have to keep them pressed?
