Member: 4205 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | Problems with E700 cable - short circuit/BSOD! If I move the connector a little, the cable and the power LED on the UST Pro II flashes - and ends with a BSOD. I don't have problems with other cables. What's up? I've tried with A800 and X640. |

Member: 4205 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | I bought the box from Multi-COM a few days ago - and cables was supplied with the box. Shouldn't they be OK? I've tried to use my cable from my N-box, but I think pinouts are different, right? The cable doesn't work (but doesn't give short circuit/BSOD either). |

Try remove battery from your phone, (try your X640 first) start desired operation, and when it ask you to power on phone, connect phone to cable (and if not detected press power button). see what will happen |

Member: 4205 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | I now have problems starting UST Pro II - again, but I think I have maybe found the problems with the cables. Where the two resistors are soldered together (with the red wire), it touches the metal "claws", that keeps the cable in the phone. Do you understand? I don't get a flashing cable (or BSOD) when I've taken the cable apart (and removed those "claws"). |

Member: 4205 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | Seperate? Shouldn't the two resistors (and the red wire) be connected? My thought was, that it was an error, that the wire was touched the "claws". I've just tried on another PC, and this just turns off immediatly, when connecting the cable - so I think this is a serious problem (and can cause damage to something). |

Member: 4205 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | I've already fixed my problem. I've put in a little piece of paper/tape between resistors and metal "claws". I think I misunderstood you, I would call it seperate the resistors from metal (but maybe I'm wrong). Problem is fixed, and that's the important part :-) |
