z400 unlock problem - GSM-Forum

when i try to unlock z400 using ustpro2 version 5.05
i get the following message

reading data phone from box....
searching for umts phone ....
phone not found ....
elapsed time (00.04)

is there any solution on how to unlock this phone?

you have a problem with drivers -change modem port or -use another usb port or unistall / install drivers

i have freshly installed xp, i believe i might need the drivers for the z series i think. could some please post or can somone tell me where i would be able to find these.

Still having the same problem and i have uninstalled the drivers several times but for some reason it also removes one of the cable drivers required for setool.

has anyone got a solution to this or has anyone got the best way to install ust pro 2 software v5.05

dont you have tyo put the handset into download mode (9+PWR) ? I have issues with NS Pro the same, it will not see handset unless it is in download mode - but then it just fails to lock it
