Idea sim card issue with sonyericson phones in india - GSM-Forum

I WANT TO DISCUSS THIS ISSUE WITH INDIAN FORUM MEMBERS . WHENEVER I INSERT IDEA SIM IN SOME SONYERICSON PHONES LIKE W580I, W910I K800I etc.i got " INSERT SIM " message. Sometimes it shows please wait in W910i. In my case i have idea demo with 128k. Idea works on 1800 mhz frequency. If i manually select frequency then also same. Is it a problem with sonyericson handsets or with idea sim cards. Please share your experiance & solution. This card works perfect with other brands like nokia , motorola etc.

Hadn't face any problem til date! I must add here, In my place idea works on 900mhz / airtel at 1800mhz :

Seem like ur issue is with your sim card, apply for sim renewal and you will solve out ur prob almost.
May be I'm wrong,Other can correct me!

In mumbai idea sim works on 1800 mhz frequency, may be its due to 128k card but problem is there .Same card works like charm in other handsets like nokia , motorola. Any mumbai forum member can confirm here . Please also correct me if i am wrong. Thanks for reply master.

It's not a problem with only 1 Sim , i have tested with many idea Sim & with brand new sonyerison handsets which i mention above.Any reseller who sells idea sim & sonyericson handset can easily confirm it.
