Question: how to refund if cheated? - GSM-Forum

I'm very curius on how to refund your money thru Western Union.
Someone has practically stolen my money and i don't know what to do.
I don't think there is a way to refund your money thru western union. How to proove it?
is there any option to refund your money thru paypal?

Pay-pal is VERY good for buyer, but bad for seller. If you are cheated you have many levels of protection, both Credit Card & paypal will refund your money. This is what my friend told me.

Paypal is wonderful at protecting the buyer and horrible at
protecting the seller. They require me to ship to a confirmed US address or
the money is not guaranteed. It would equate to me accepting a personal
check from a total stranger. If the buyer "says" he never got the product,
paypal takes the money back from me and MOST of the time rewards it to the
buyer.... even if they are lying, and even if I have a valid tracking
number. I just got nailed for 2 servers in November and lost $860.00... and
it is not going to happen to us again.

I use Pay-pal to pay for MOST USA source gear & its wonderull for me!!!

WU... Forget it!!!! Its like giving cash to somebody, they do not accept responsibility. No offence to our Romanians & Indonesian collegues, but many of your countrymen are famous WU cheats. I have heard that they often just bribe the local WU office man to get details & take money!!!!

I have seen on the local WU office the pc that sends the money and the only thing he entered to the receipient was the name and the last name. ANY other details like addres etc. where not entered. That's why it is not safe thru WU.

Credit card will refund straight away you need to contact card issuer and explain to them they will then put money back on card as late as three months after transaction date. paypal and western union im not sure but contact western union direct and im sure they will help.
