DBSS v2.0, DreamBox Firmware 1.05 - GSM-Forum

Dear users,
We are pleased to announce a release of new versions of DBSS v2.0 & DreamBox v1.05.

In this update:

Added Format Bootcore* mode for most SGOLD phones;
New flash type for EL71 supported;
Option of Full Flash added to the scenario;
New User Interface:
- Options dialog added;
- Phone info always visible;
- Rarely used controls moved to menu;
- Full Flash tree redesigned;
- Copy from log activated;
- "About" box upgrade;
- Manufacturer and model combined in one combo tree control;
CX75, SL75 communication process improved;
Implemented "Disable strict model validation" option;
Allowed "Repair IMEI after FullFlash";
Read Flash speed was increased;
Movable User Data storage added;
Software algorithm is totally reorganized.

More features to come.

* Format Bootcore access mode - direct boot for SGold-phones (without Java or Testpoint), but it delete original bootcore in the phone.

P.S. Option "Delete custom data for EGOLD phones" did not pass a final test, so we did not include it to DBSS. We will add it soon. Instead of this we increased read Flash speed and changed a title

First big thanks to DreamBox team for this update,

I wait this update because I have dead SL75 (dead after fullflash with DBSS with older version) and I waiting this new update and I repeat fullflash procedure with new version od DBSS.

Down is complete log file what I make, but SL75 remain dead after all.

I see that on bootloader is not any more fullflash for SL75.
And I fullflash with this old file which was before on bootloader (SL75_100300[1].fullflash).

What this mean that You did not put any fullflash file to bootloader?
You want to stop any future fullflash of SL75 with dreambox?

Please tell me, is there any solution for make alive again my SL75?

its really nice update but i got disapointed that there is no support for E71 cuz most of siemens unlocking tolls got suport for this modle so why we those customer suffer who love dream box.despertly waiting for suport of E71.
dream box team made my dream become true.

He-he... what's new? New interface? delete custom data - not released, xfs support - nit released... Sorry, but joker+x65PapuaUtils have biggest functionallity as DBSS at this day...

We will add "Delete custom data for EGOLD phones" soon. We need a time for test this option. About xfs support - we will think about this
