Update problem

Hi,

My Dreambox worked very fine until today when I tried to update to the last version of firmware and software. I used ver 1.29.2 / option Update firmware. It started to update the box but at about 60-70% I got an error. My Internet connection works fine, I use Windows XP. With ver 1.29.2 I get the next errors:

If I try to connect to a phone (ex. A50)

---Reading Info ------
Error: can not connect to Dream Box (xxxx)
Error: Failed.

If I try to update:

--Updating Box Firmware -----
Connecting to server...OK
Trying to get firmware...
Warning: Update not found.


There are no new updates on server
or your device is already up to date
Done.


If I select Reading Box Info

---Reading Box Info------
Box SN: xxxx
Firmware Version: 1.04.0
Error: Failed.
Please, remove your box from USB port.
Than connect it, and try again.
You nedd to upgrade firmware in your box
if you see this message again.
Error: Failed.



If I try to update with version 2.2 I get the next errors:

--- Updating Box Firmware--------------------------------------------
Connecting to server ...OK
Warning : Update not found.

There are no new updates on server
or your device is already up to date
Done.

If I select Read Box Info: I get the next result:

--- Reading Box Info-----------------------------------------------------
Box SN : xxxx
Firmware Version : 1.04.0
Error : Failed.
Please, remove your box from USB port.
Than connect it, and try again.
You need to upgrade firmware in your box
if you see this message again.
Error : Failed.


I reinstalled DreamBox (1.29.2 and then 2.2) I restarted my computer, I tried with a diffrent Internet connection.

What should I do?

Hi,

I tried to update again after your PM telling me to do that. The update worked with no problem! Now DreamBox is fully functional again!

I used ver. 2.2 of software.
