computer does not ask for any cable drivers


hi all,

i have just bought my usb-smart dongle but i am having problems running the cable. i have installed drivers for the usb dongle no problem. but when i put the 4in1 cable in to the usb port nothing happens does not ask for any drivers, i have also tried to plug it in to the phone still will not ask for drivers. can someone please help me i have tried it on 2 computers 98 and xp.

put me i the right direction please

Do you have some other tool on you`r computer that you have used with the same cable?or cable like that? maybe Cruiser? or something like that.
Then it is ready to use.no need install again.

Just check in your Device manager in "PORTS (COM & LPT)". If you have anything that is named "UC-10" or similar to it your cable is correctly installed.

hi all,

thanks for the quick reply i have just checked in the ports/lpt no uc10. strange it finds the dongle i putt in but nothing when i put usb cable adapter.

can the usb cable be faulty

hi there,

just noticed can bluetooth serial make a difference in comports because it takes quite a lot of comports spaces.

i will try to uninstall blutooth and nok pc suite then try.

Your bluetooth simulated serial-ports shouldn't be any problem.

But if you look in the top of your device manager when your Cable is plugged in, do u have anything in "Other Devices" (this selection will only appear if you have any hardware that isn't installed correctly).

If you still can't find the cable it's probably som fault in cable/PC, to be sure, try on another PC.

mate, this is gliffy as hell this software

basically, i can install the softwae on my laptop but cant install the cable drivers, but i can install the cable drives on my desktop, but not the software drivers

its buggy mate

same problem here , the cable did work , but no longer is detected, does any one have schamatic of PCB inside
