That's true

Because last 7-8 version have no baudrate option and only last one supports Z300.

1. My PC is Athlon 2,4/266 512/266 geforce2 gti mboard gigabyte ga7-n400 on nforce2 with Win XP SP2

2. How i change baudrate very simple my computer>properites>hardware menager> then open Crusier cable driver and set baudrate there , also com port can be set there

when i try to enter the code in to my z300 it says not allowed.
can anyone help me?

you have to flash the pone, than enter the code.
I have flashed with setool and worked for me.
