Please try again to connect to the phone. If it can't connect in few tries please go to download area, schematic directory and download C55x ELLE adapter.pdf.
This simple circuit solves the boot problems.

You're right. Left side shows how to connect to OTUF box female connector. The schematics was drawn like this to directly show how to connect box to interface.

I uploaded schematic and manual which is more easier to understand then ps2 to ps2 adapter schematic.
On some Elle phone you can not enter boot without this adapter.
You have dir manuals in download area.

Corrupted data means that phone didn't respond properly.
This maybe the problem with adapter, probably with 5V for power supply. How did you power the adapter?

Please confirm me did you use 74HCT04? It is very important that IC is HCT .

I will consult with my partners about this situation.
We will contact you soon, but I am afraid that we will need this phone in our hands to find out what is problem.
Please tell me do you have this problem with any Elle or only with this specific phone?

Please try the C551 or C552 with and without the adapter. If the adapter is OK, then it should work with and without adapter. This way you can verify that adapter is OK.
