How to unlock e808?

Is anybody here can tell me how to unlock nec e808. I do not understand the pinout with "3 voltage or 5 voltage from phone etc.", do I need extral power or something else, which cable do I need to use, is the same cable sagem 9xx serial calbe which I used for the e606?

hello, yes you can use cable you use for 606, connect TX on 3v

FINE DOES ONE NEED TO CUT THE CABLE TO GET THE 3V OR WHAT?

forget about 3v cable 5v cable Just connect Rx Tx and ground and press unlock. to unlock it will take 5 seconds. if your phone is new version it will show phone is unlocked . but redbox cannot unlock new version NEC phones.

which cable is proper and how can one determinbe the Rx and Tx?

Nothing any special cable for nec. you can find a opened cable in redbox package you can use it for nec phones.
Red wire is RX White wire is TX Green+Orage both wires are Ground.
for rx tx ground you can use any com cable( T191 db savy)

now u gave 2 types of cables does both work perfectly for this nec 606/808, assumming I want to use the db savvy cable is alrite as well rite

NEC Temporary Unlock:

Put a 2G Simcard and turn ON the phone.
#4960*xxxxxxxx#
*4960*xxxxxxxx*xxxxxxxx#
Turn OFF and ON again.
xxxxxxxx = any numbers

Remember the xxxxxxxx you used. You will need to use same code in the furure.

Attention:
- This unlock method ONLY works with one Simcard. If you change to another Simcard, you will have to unlock again!
- This method depends on the firmware version. If didn't work only a cable soluction can help you.

MAN look ON SUPPORT page , download the NEW picture , you see excatly what to connect ,

use cable from redbox , and connect like is explain in picture, if you can not find test point in phone , i can not come and show you , i think picture is allready ok

but EASY PICTURE is on support zone With color to Connect ! so please check it !!

dont recommend this method for unlock NEC phones, becoz after unlock NEC phones with this method phone will restart every 30 seconds and you have to enter the codes again,, again.

To Julvir,
i thinhg we all buy redbox software specially for Unlocking NEC phones. but redbox still cannot unlock latest version E606 phones and no any updates for E616. so please give any new updates for nec phones. also we cannot check what is the version in locked nec phones.

-then i want to ask why 3G phones after unlock, when insert a sim card phone will automatically swiched On. this problem not only for NEC phones this same problem arrive Motorola A835 also.
