Hello,
I was hoping that someone will be able to help me.
I have a new Sharp Gx-25, that is locked to the Vodafone network and I need to unlock it.
I have tried all my lociale phone shops but they don’t know what they are doing.

From reading on the Web and on these forum’s, I have found out that:

1. RedBox released a new update on the 7th Nov, that can unlock the Sharp Gx-25!

2. That the Gx-25 uses a USB cable rather than a serial, so dose it still need the RedBox, as it doesn’t go through it (or can you get an emulator?)

3. That there other unlocking programs that can now unlock the gx-25 but I don’t know where I can get them.

Can anyone tell me where I can make or buy a cable for the Gx-25 (all I can find is on eBay!) and where I can download the software to unlock the phone, or can I use the inferred port?

You MUST buy Redbox to use Redbox software.
There is no Free solution for the GX-25.

Would it be worth me trying (at one phone shop), what some people are saying about using the Gx-30 cable and telling it that it is a Gx-15? I’m not to shore what software/hardware he is using.
