Problems downgrading NEC 338 v4 - GSM-Forum

Hi,

i tried to downgrade NEC 338 v4 with the new HACK3R2 downgrader and it went to 100%.

when i switched the phone on, the phones stuck/freezes on the NEC screen. when i try to unlock it it still says V1.04.

What shall i do?
help.

Flash using soft. Phone without battery, drivers must be installed and u start falsher soft when phone becomes blue. You wait soft to finish flashing and you unlock after using NEC USB.

Thats exactly what i did. when i try to unlock it and when the screen turns blue, it still says v1.04 and then when u enter the imei it says imei error. after flashing the phones now stuck on its first screen.

do you hv to install the drivers that came with ur software or can you use the drivers that were previously given to us by furious tem for NEC 338?

I have exactly the same problem as T9TMP downgraded went to 100% but when i try to unlock it says v1.04 and still get imei error

Man sure u flashed phone ? whole process takes arround 30minm. After must power on/off phoine and user NEC USB or NEC Serial to unlock.

it starts to flash takes quite a while to get around to 60% then zooms to 100% and says flash is complete and colour of lcd changes. Then powered off phone and powered on tried unlocking but get imei error.

i noticed the same thing, it start flashing it took a while, until it reaches 50% then it jumps to 100% phone still version 04.

exactly the same thing happens to me, goes to around 50% and takes a lot of time and then quickly goes 100% and says successfull.

the lcd on the phone turns green and says something like RAM OK and something else ok as well.

when u power on the phone it freezes at the NEC screen and nothing happens and when u try and unlock it it still say v1.04 and give imei error.

same problem reached 40% then went to 100% now phone does not switch on but be patiant hack3r2k will sort this out 100%

if u use the repair process the phone will stop freezing but still remains locked.
we just have to wait until a solution is figured out.

but when i use teh repar function the screen on the phone goes red and displays error of some sort.

@ TENKIN, the phone will switch on just keep the button pressed for a while, if not then put it on charge and then try and switch it on.

@T9TMP i flashed the phone again with the downgrader and then used repair process straight after and it worked phone works as normal.
