Unlock LG "8210" - GSM-Forum

Need litle help my first 8210 LG.Every time I try to unlock I have this error:

Searching phone ...
Version error !
Error ... !

The phone is from movistar
Any advice

Go Settings/Handset Info and tell me the software version u see on menu. Probably name is slight changed but can be fixed asap. Note that phone must be on during unlock and must restart phones beetwen retries. If u did that then just post here what i asked.

Yes it worked,turn the phone on and imidietly conect to cable and press unlock.All OK

Hi, I tried unlock LG U8210 and the phone restart, the SW version is U8210-MODEMV10b, and when I try to unlock I have this message:
Searching phone ...
Version error !
Error ... !

dont forget phone needs to be turned on.

Here is the solution, (1) run the software (2) connect phone without battrie. (3) press unlock, when software say power on shortly, just insert the battrie.That 's all.

Wrong. Turn ON/OFF the phone and when soft search the phone attach cable. Phone must be on.

On your worship Mr Hack,I have unlock more than twenty pices of 3g/2g lg phones with this procedure.(that's why I treat my box like a baby).

Hi everyone, i will like to thank .:hack3r2k:. for helping me out.. my lg u8210 kept restarting after flashing so i put the fone in emergency mode by pressing key 2 and 5 together and pressing the power button,.. before then i downloaded lg drivers from the furious site and installed.. and then using the cable that come s with the fone (for downloading ring tones and so on) i flashed the fone and after that flashed the NV file to fix the imei and network problems.. after that unlocked fone with 'nothing checked'..and now everything is fine!! thanx once again .:hack3r2k:.!! kudos!!

You MUST NOT CHECK "RESET SECURITY AND SPC"
