i have blackberry 7280 that i unlock and it wont find and network it only saying emergency calls only i already upgraded the firmware before i unlock. so what could be the problem

did you check before unlocking if it was working fine?
1.try to select network manually
if no success
2.reflash it again.

try to send any call,must get network after that,if not check band settings also try to change to another firmware

Try another firmware.
Make complete erase with MFI or JL before writting new OS.

i wipe the phone with jL and try different firmware but still no success the phone still say emergency calls only i dont wonna use mfi cause i have read where it has damage blackberry phones before so is there another solution please

Check hardware ...and are you sure phone totally unlocked?

yes its unlocked cause network is inactive and all others are disabled. can the it policy in the phone stops it from recieving signal cause mine is set on default
