Vodafone 541 / Alcatel OT-708 Connectivity Problem / Unlocking Problem [ANSWERED] - GSM-Forum

Hi support,

I have here Vodafone 541 mobile phone for unlock (VF-UK)
Have downloaded pc-suite for Alcatel OT-708 and used drivers from it to install this phone on computer. All drivers were installed ok in device manager.

Polar box instructions:

 - Phone Status OFF 
 - Use Alcatel  S 320  Datacable 
 
 - Repair Phone during Flash
   This option restore backup of phone
   Backup is made by PB2 at first connection
 
 - Repair Killed phones
   Use this option for force flashing
   This will repair phones damaged by other tools

Ok, I have checked my PB2 contents package and there is no S 320/S320 data cable, or it is the same as regular USB cable? Why? - because it does not detect phone over regular usb cables(note - computer does detect it, alcatel pc suite does detect it, and all necessary drivers has been successfully installed before unlock), so where is the problem?
I have read all posts in regards of this model unlocking - but nothing helpful.
When clicked [Connect] button:

 Please keep pressed power button until process finish 
 
 ERROR Phone not respond ...

I think this is wrong, because when phone is off and usb cable is being plugged-in phone starts to charge over usb and it switches to mass-storage device mode, so if I keep pressed power button from begining nothing will happen, otherwise, if I release power button for a second and press it in again it will power on but nothing will happen anyway, apart from that the phone gives 4 options on screen:

Code:

Mass storage
Charging
Webcam
COM port

No matter which option has been chosen which way trying to connect to pc - still no success... Even tried to select as OT-708 model but still all the same... tried on different pcs, no usb-hubs being used, still no difference.

to unlcok vodafone 541 use firmware unlocked for alcatel ot-708 from support area,u cant flash it with usb to connect must use rj45 data cable for alcatel s320 just write firmware ur phone will be unlocked

use rj45 alcatel c825 box cable as bauzito told you,phone will be connected in a second with polar,suunnyy

dont have mini-usb cable with 10 pin so have to order one dam cable... is there any more cables for more alcatel phones that I should order on the same time? I mean ones that didnt came with box sales package?

The box came with so many cables but sure missing a lot too! As it it an universal box it´s hard to tell whitch cables you must order. Start to see in your city what are the most popular phones.

Hi, im try to unlock this same model but just alcatel 708 not vodafone :d, but i have some problems i dont know if i have to use de usb datacable, im using the AC108\MPX220 that came with polarbox

, and i dont know if i have to install drivers or something like because i dont have de RJ45 Cable for V3, well theres one way that can give me, how to do this cable? please

, and tell me how i can unlock this movil, i have polarbox2 and the Alcatel 708 :d

i guess you didnt read the thread.... it is not a standard mini USB with 5pin, is special 10pin cable. buy Alcatel C701 cable for polarbox
