MOTO V3i S Blank - GSM-Forum

My moto V3i, wont power up, but in RSD lite it shows S Blank Neptune Lte2. I was using GOT to unlock it which I purchased today and got my Pass today. Can I load some software to get this thing back to normal?

Click on repair tab in GOT and select remove Blank mode

Tried your suggestion this is the result I got.

I tried a few things on my phone, and now it shows the bootloader screen, but when I try to power on it just blinks and goes off. What to do next?

OK I have reflashed it and now it starts to power up, keypad lights up, MOTO screen comes on then it turns itself off. Suggestions Please!!

Does anyone know where I can get a 1FF.shx file for my MOTO V3i(Itunes) boot ver.0A.30. I used my Pass and went into SureGot but there is not one there. Thanks in Advance.

You have 1FF files for V3i in folder Motorola_Packages_GOT.
This files is exactly like SHX but can be flashed only with GOT MOTO client.

GOT I tried the flash listed on the site and this is the error message I got.

Split input file in codegroups:
Processed ok

- Enter Blank Mode
- Repair PDS
- Remove Blank

or

- Enter Blank Mode
- Restore PDS
- Remove Blank Mode

Followed your steps and these are the results;

This is what it does when I Enter (set)Blank mode.

I have two more of these phones that I got from people who switched from Cingular to Verizon, They are locked to cingular, they are the same model V3i(itunes), same software, same bootloader. Can I use the unlock procedure and then backup the PDS from one of these phones and load it to this phone. On my way to a dental appt. will be back shortly.

U-DOGG!!!!

1. You can restore PDS only with a Backup made by YOU and not with files from backup folder! This files are automaticaly used to recover phone from blank mode.

2. After set blank mode, you have to remove cable, remove battery, insert cable, insert battery. Try again Repair PDS now (if phone is still in blank mode - you not used Remove Blank button).

To identify if phone is in Blank mode check this messages:

"Bootcore version on handset: 0300" - phone is in BLANK mode
"Bootcore version on handset: 0A30" - phone is in normal mode

Repair PDS automaticaly initialize PDS with default right values, so you will no more need any backup from another phone.

When I tried to backup the PDS it said i needed testpoint to backup item with this bootloader version. I read soem more and it said that the backup would be made automaticcally, so I thought that the PDS Would be made also. So I dont have a PDS Backup where can I get one. Or am I up the creek without a paddle.lol
