V360 Unlock - GSM-Forum

Hi!

I have a Motorola V360 phone, running the evil bootloader version 09.02, which, according to the sticky thread isn't supported by GOT yet.

It does however state that "work is in progress", which sounds good! My question is, is work really in progress on the 0902, or is it "impossible" to break?

I read that an alternative is to short some pin on the circuitboard, TestPoint/TP by making a hole in the shield. With my handyman skills, I will probably ruin the phone so this is not an option for me.

I also read about the "Magic TP"-method, where you can purchase a small circuit, place it on the phonecircuits and it will short the pin for you. Still, this is something I'd rather not do.

A solid solution would be a software-only unlock, does anything think it will be possible in the near future?

I just managed to **** up the rails on one of the screws while trying to open my V360, so I can't even get the chase
