Post GD87 Sim Error!

Can anyone help me with my GD87 (was on Vodaphone) now unlocked or so I've been told by the 'unlocker' person.
Now with any SIM card eg Orange, T-Mob, Voda or O2 it just says SIM ERROR...............Emergency calls only!

I've done the <25625 ok ok> thing and the 5 titles come up in the menu, also done <746 ok ok> and the only one active is #2 Network which ask for the Unlock (NCK) code. I assume its already unlocked.......how can I tell? (don't have data lead yet by the way).

Does the SIM ERROR message mean its PANTS and ready to file in B1N?

Is the IMEI being blocked?, can't see this myself as it does not even get to look for a network.

Any help would be appreciated

If it still ask for NCK your phone is not unlocked !....most of time Sim error is an eeprom status locked, you better give it to some real unlocker to arrange this

GD87 Sim Error

Thanks for the reply Frenchi, I wondered why it prompted me for the unlock code! I have a serial lead to unlock Nokia's and the Panasonic code reader by SPunlock V5.0. Is it possible to just get an adaptor to fit my lead and the GD87 so I can read the codes?
Lead is 9 way 'D' type common serial Com 1 etc to a PS2 type cable mounted socket. Or do I need a new lead?

Its not disabled Petrovski, when I select 'Network' option #2 on menu UNLOCK appears in the lower blue band on the display. Thats the only thing that happens in any of the options.
Thanks.

Hi Winmodo.
What do I need to flash it? Never done that before, I have a data lead now do I just need some software and the flash file? Do you have either you could let me have please?
Another thing I cannot read any Simlock codes/make logs either does this point to the same SIM ERROR problem?
Thanks for the help, regards Nodski.
