my dads gd87 will not power up - GSM-Forum

ive upgraded my phone and everything works fine.

my dad tried 2 upgrade his firmware from a16 to a22 and all windomo did is erased everything and did not upload nothing..

now the phone is 100% dead, it will not power up!

When battery is taken out, and charger is put in, the front led lights come on, but thats it....

what can I do 2 fix this?

If the red light comes up, that means not totally dead, some people know how to reflash it.

And even if it's totally dead you just send to CRC, and get it fixed, it's free anyway, well for me it was.

CRC, I couldn't remember the address, but if you live in the UK, just call panasonic's support line and they will tell you the address, and get it fixed, but the only thing is: it takes ages for them to fix a phone. And you might have to pay some money ( the bill sent to me was 60 pounds, but I don't know for some reason I didn't need to pay).

i sent my phone on monday and i got it back today (friday)

looks like they have given me a new phone!!

very pleased! and extremely fast!
a51 software also
