can the xperia x10 be blocked after entering many wrong codes ? as when i try any code i get message "sim locked contact provider"

Well with my experience with nokia's you can enter codes 2 ways, via keyboard or by FBUS cable using a nokia supported unlocking box.

You get atleast 3 tries with the FBUS so if you try once and it does not work then your code could be wrong. Try not to exceed the FBUS tries as it is difficult to reset tries.

I think xperia x10 is Sony Ericssons phone not Nokia, so there is no FBUS

is it made by HTC?

yes it s htc based phone !! so no one has correct information ?? i don t wanna ask for expensive code then i can t put it on phone as its blocked !!!
