Hot Air station is more confortable, but is extremly hard to control temperature, and without preheater is almost imposible to do some jobs. Infrared not carry about glue, efect is same, but allow you to control temperature and without air-flow , missing some negative efects what can give hot air. And cality is important also. Some times good cality hot air station can be better then low cality infrared station. Infrared is not a miracle, but is usefull to have in service buth. |
