i have almost the same problem can`t connect to my kg800
in my device manager:
MultiBox Serial Port (COM27)
MultiBox Serial Port (COM28)

i m using the LG_2G v1.32
From my setting:
Multibox Port : COM28
Phone COM Port : COM1 (Unable to open COM1)

if i change it to Phone COM Port : COM27 (it keep connecting....connecting....connecting....)

I have 2 kg800 cable, and I did try on 2 KG800 phone, but both are the same after i click on connect.
Please help :cry:

Sure it will not work on com port 1. Please read support docs here about this:

Also use search botton here in forum, we post already a solution how to work with LG soft if you have a problem with comports.

I did read the support doc in lg software
it said " In some cases initially multi-box port was 4 and phone COM Port was 3, BUT working phone com port is 6, so you have to adjust it yourself."

my multi-box is port 28
what is my working phone com port is ???

i still didn`t find the solution for the connection.
it just keep connecting ...... for com port 27

please tell me which is the right com port or correct setting ?

go in device manager > com ports & check which ports are for multi-box u should have one port for the box and a ther one for the phone
