unlock k610im - GSM-Forum

i'm in urgent need of support here..

when unlocking this phone i'm asked for the following file;
R1ED001_prgCXC1250375_generic_RI_enc.bin
this file is not available in the list :-(

does it exist somewhere? or are there any other solutions? the deatils of the phone are;
k610im
R1ED001
CDA102690/1 R12A
erom: R3A016

please i need this urgently, this is not my phone...

i've upgraded the software version and then tried again and it worked.. but it seems like the phone has lost it's imode function... does anyone have any ideas about that?

what network was phone originally locked to

originally it was kpn netherlands

i may have noticed that it's a firmware problem, that i've simply flashed it wrong firmware files of regular k610i, is that possible or is that the same thing? and if not, where can i get firmware files for k610im, because i can't seem to find those anywhere

if flashed with different firmware i mode will still work just need the settings from your mobile phone network provider

so firmware for k610i is exactly the same as for k610im?

when pressing the i-mode butting a regular menu appears as like it would in like for example a k750i.. nowhere in all menu's i-mode can be chosen or found

this is the same on a vodafone uk the i mode no longer works when debranded but you can get the vodafone custom pack not sure about kpn like i said you can access it through the providers settings and the wap button in menu as the buttons are in a different place to the generic software hope this makes sense

prosblem is solved today, k610i firmware IS different from k610im firmware! i found it somewhere so everything is ok now

it has cost me 10 credits though! i thought for same phone never more then 2 credits, with previous attempts in k800i i could try as many times as i wanted without losing credits
