Hi, can you clarify. Is this platform DB2012 CID 52 not supported at all or just its about cable problem??

It's both. DB2012 can only be unlocked with service cable, and CID52 is not supported yet.

is the cruiser cable a service cable? If so do i have to use the external powersupply?

I have the Cruiser service cable and have never had to use an external powersupply. Just make sure your phone battery is fully charged before attempting any flashing/unlock.
