yesterday had also v5.00 ATD, unlock failed, so as last time did, downgraded to 4.71 (dead), upgraded again to V5.00 (factory def), unlocked in first shot.

this method always works by me with problematic ATDs.

seems corrupted, phone works with original simcard ?

if yes then try:

- downgrade do 4.71 (phone can become dead)
- upgrade again to 5.0 and unlock

by me it helped, also wasted couple of time tryin' to unlock this phone. After this procedure, phone was unlocked in 1st shot ...

thats 10000% correct trick for 5200

This phones was brand new ones or used by somebody?

go upto 4.26 or down to 3.71 if you can downgrade that model..

you might be better off starting a thread with the phone model in the title, then this 5200 thread won't drift off, if you know what I mean
