IMEI Error After Q380 Reformat - GSM-Forum

I have another case of Keypad Malfunction for Q380...

What i did .... is to format NOR EEPROM Area and rebuild IMEI afterwards ...

but to my surprised ....when i turned on the unit

a flashing IMEI ERROR is flashing on the unit's screen.

What i did next is to flash the unit with the only available flash file from support .... but i've got the same error.

WHAT OR WHERE IS THE PROBLEM ? I've doing this procedure on several occasions and yield good result. But this time it gave me this error.

bro,try to flash it with good backup....and your problem will be solved....good luck....

It's own backup still doesn't work. Maybe i need to flash it from a backup of
a working unit of the same kind. That's really a problem.

Maybe i could ask a favor to someone who can upload a working backup for this unit.

if you have back up from that unit, u must format the phone first, after formatting, restore back up...

also post your logs so we determined the version you used..
