basically this is program initiated in india to implement the legal imei to the chinese phones, which can be identified in future if needed. genuine imei is provided by different authoised outlets buy a software so called g2 software which is directly linked to a server and phones imei is read and verified if it is legal or permissible to change to new imei and if phone has ungenuine imei then new imei is automatically written to the fone,with photo and valid identity proof taken by the outlet. it is all i know about imei implimentation in china fones in india.

right solution is go to any service centre located from govt of india.and register ur phone imei.. this is legal method only. for find ur nearest Gii centre click this link
