G920v diag port not there

can someone please clarify what needs to be done exactly to get dm+modem+adb to work on the sm-G920V.

I tried everything I know,

Rooted - hidden menu enabled
sm-g920v
OE2

tried ##366633#
tried *#0808#
tried *#7284#

Windows 7 -

every time = "USB device NOT recognized"

dial *#9090# you will get diag port for cdma ws to match meid and etc

Looks like the retail firmware does not have the diag drivers loaded (which explains why USB is failing when enabling DMMODE), and since our bootloader is locked we obviously cannot flash a custom one.
