Can any body please explain me in detail how to take latest files for flashing the handsets i am still confused please help me . Thanks in advance

i know the files r in support forum but i want to know which file to be taken for flashing the handset ie how will i know that i am taking correct version for flashing the phone because 2 of my handsets got dead and that same 2 handsets got alive on usf3 micro on my friends shop i wanted to knw how to check the handsets sw and that the file i am taking is right please know
