First you can try to download an other version of tool, download the oldest you can find on z3x support site, then try to repeat repair, just once. |

When you connect one, let adb drivers get correctly installed (each time you connect a new set), then click on save efs. Saving efs BEFORE trying to work on any s2 or S3 (or other similar types of phones) is essential in case something goes wrong. During this procedure, z3X will root your phone, then after you can unlock easily. For some firmwares, that won't be possible. You'll have to root it on your own. In this case we'll guide you in your first steps. |

Download also Odin flasher and multiloader. Both are official samsung flashers. They are more reliable to flash your sets. There are different versions of each tool, but you can download today odin v1.85 and multiloader 5.67, these are the most useful versions to start. |

An other trick : avoid unlocking phones with 4.0.3 or 4.0.4, some of these firmwares may have a weak part that may brick your phones. Flash any other firmware before working. And as said before, always save efs before anything ! |
