  FLASH INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Choose correct flash file(s).
  2. If you have PIT file chosen, then you must check 'Repartition' option.
  3. Check flashing options if needed (Repartition, EFS clear, Boot update).
  4. Power on the phone in download mode (turn off phone, press vol.down + home + power).
  5. Connect the phone to PC with USB cable, install drivers if needed.
  6. Press 'Flash' button. 

Operation: Flash
Selected model: SM-A520F
Software version: 40.3

Searching USB Flash interface... COM31 detected
Setup connection... OK
Reading PIT file... error

Done with Samsung Tool PRO v.40.3

odin gaves me same error at reading pit.
I am stuck here.
please advice.

Read pit error is alwayes hardware faulty but sometimes i get rid of it by changing usb cable but it's in rare case try to change usb cable as well as usb port otherwise it's emmc problem

3 cables... same error
original from samsung and 2 from the shop.

the phone works, but I was trying to flash combination file.

what firmware in phone before flashing?
what firmware you trying to flashing in to phone?
what the status of phone?
why you update firmware?
what you see on display at the moment of error of flashing?
