First select I8350.
second:make sure drivers are installed i would recommend you use windows 7 machine as drivers easier to install..
Enter "##634#" number.
Input *#7284# code.
Select "Modem, USB Diag" option.
Press "OK" button.
Wait until phone restart.
then connect and press read codes.
when reach point of searching samsung mode disconnect and reconnect phone and should find port..

whats problems u have pappurox..and yes can work on xp but i prefer doing it on windows 7 as drivers easier to install
