Samsung T679 locked - GSM-Forum

Today z3 team release Samsung Tool v11.6
I saw T679 in list, but i would like to know which cable i must used to unlock it. I need help. i have tried with Micro Uart Cable C3300 but i didn't succeed it.

Hi, do this..

1. enter *#7284# and select MODEM, restart the phone
2. enter *#9090# and select USB, restart the phone

now connect phone to pc, install drivers..
In Samsung tool 11.6 select model T679 and under port select Samsung Android USB diagnostic and click unlock...

That's it!

what cable do you use.. i am trying with micro usb cable. it does not detect the phone...

Count supported models - 274
No Answer From Phone (COM100)

today I spend 3-4 hours and unalbe to unlcok this T679.
I try with microUSB and with Uart. not work.

finaly I found your post and for 1min mobile is unlocked. cool.

guys please add this info for this mobile. in moment v11.6 "No help" for this model.
I am sure that many people will need this information.

if not working do that
Go to the keypad and type *#7284#
Select MODEM option at the USB section. If the code does not work, use *#9090# instead.
Go to the keypad and type *#1575#
Now press the MENU key, select Back, [4] DIAG CONFIG and select the [1] USB option.
Press the MENU key and select END.
Now restart your phone and wait until it fully starts up
