SM-G890A Unlock Requires Root, But Can It Be Rooted?

SM-G890A (Galaxy S6 Active) was added in 22.8. Unlock requires root, but it appears no root method available. Does anyone have any info on this?

Check version Before Root.

Why not check your facts. There is no CF Auto Root for the SM-G890A

I haven't seen any new info about rooting this model.

I don't want to start an argument here, but I'm curious how could a direct unlock, read EFS, read Cert, etc be offered if root is required and you can't root the device? it seems that it couldn't be tested if you can't accomplish the prerequisite of rooting. Maybe I'm missing something and would appreciate a logical explanation.

You can toggle Unknown Sources under the Personal tab then Lock screen and Security

Yes I found it already, but that solution I found seems to be a fake, it says that the phone is succefully rooted but once it restarts automatically after the process completes there is no root at all. It looks like we have to wait a little more for a real root method.

Because some people have their own private root methods. Why make it public so Samsung can patch it? Instead you can have a universal root method all to yourself and eliminate your competition entirely. If you're going to be successful in this field, you pretty much need to be a programmer or become friend's with one. The "weekend unlockers" are going to be weeded out soon enough.

I have to disagree with the fact the the weekend unlockers will be weeded out, there are people out there that will always share root methods and ways to do it, and i myself am happy that they are out there, technology needs challenges and if samsung patches a hole that means they are working to improve technology, i personally hope sharing of methods to unlock and root never end....

Weekend Unlockers

Weekend Unlockers help in their own way. Even if they are difficult and annoying. There are a few that become very successful at this and eventually teach even the very experienced.
People truly need to rid themselves of this bitterness and be open minded. Instead of constantly arguing or creating conflicts. Help each other because a simple gesture of help can help everyone grow.
Because no matter what Samsung or any other company trys to do to prevent Root, Unlocking, etc. There will always be a way eventually.
