SM-N920W8 FRP error? [Answered] - GSM-Forum

Android 7.0 4CQE2 Knox 0, put into D/L mode, connected the phone says:
"Custom Binary(USERDATA) Blocked by FRP lock" and is frozen... Also another screen popped up saying: "An error has occurred while updating the device s/w use the emergency recovery function..."

Operation: Reset FRP/React/EE
Selected model: SM-N920W8
Selected port: COM131 Z3X BOX Serial Port
Software version: 33.8

Searching Samsung USB Flash interface... COM6 detected
Setup connection... OK
Reading PIT from phone... OK
Searching FRP lock... OK
Erasing FRP lock... OK
Reset done
For complete reset FRP, goto 'Backup and reset' and make 'Factory data reset'

Done with Samsung Tool PRO v.33.8

Turns on with this message "An error has occurred while updating the device s/w use the emergency recovery function..." Battery reconnect does not help

Try to read pit file by z3x and phone should start up then try to find combination compatible with the phone firmware binary

Upon the hard reset it says in red: "E: failed to mount /preload (No such file or directory)" nothing to worry about?

Bro frp is now off or you still have the frp on flash stock rom again same as installed on phone

FRP is off, reflashed stock ROM of the same version from downloads sections, still the same exact message in recovery upon factory reset "E: failed to mount /preload (No such file or directory)
No big deal as long as it does not affect anything else. Can do OTA if it would help.
