3g V 4.1 jailbreak ? - GSM-Forum

to unlock 3g V4.1 BB 05.15.04 , I must jail break and instal ipad base band.
but each time I tried to do that there is no respons. that mean I used redsnow 0.9.6b6 ,0.9. 6b5,0.9. 6rc9 and 0.9. 6b2 but there is no upload ramdisk.there is only bleu light instead of upload ramdisk.

I flashed 2 times and repeated this jailbreak but there is no result.

pls any other method pls ?

If itunes is connecting with your iphone then redsn0w should. Are you putting your phone in dfu as instructed?

Try Greenpoison to jailbreak, see if that communicates with your iphone, you can always run redsnow after to update baseband. Make sure you save your blobs incase anything goes wron, so that you can restore to 4.1!

1. iREB
2. Flash custom firmware 4.2.1 (or stock - there is no more updates for 3G)
3. redsn0w_win_0.9.9b8 or older redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc8 to jb and ultrasn0w to unlock.

yes,itune is connecting with my phone and i always putting in to dfu.

the problem is it does't upload to be jailbreked. it's always recognized with redsnow. but does't jailbreak.

pls help me

i have flashed already with cutom firmware 4.1 , at the end it was blocked on boot log. after i reflashed with original firmware 4.1 and i tried to jailbreak with redsnow, but the result is same.

if i flash with custom firmware 4.2.1, it will block on boot log.at that time what can i do ?
pls give good explantion.

i flashed with custom firmware 4.2.1, it is jailbreaked. it coud't instal base band.
i tried with every redsnow but it does't instal base band to 06.15.00.

how can i instal ?

use redsn0w 9.6b8.. but you must have original 4.1 firmware. happy JB
