What version iTunes did you use and how did you downgrade? I need to downgrade to 4.3.5 also ASAP. Using iPhone 4. Info would be greatly appreciated.

Additional: Is it just Shift+Click (Restore) on the latest iTunes 10.5?

This is really confusing, is there hope for this?

Should I try a custom 4.3.5 instead of the stock 4.3.5 since it gets stuck in recovery mode?

Tried this already, this doesn't go through since it says error 3194.

I tried downgrading to stock 4.3.5 via iTunes 10.4 and it went through but then it gets completely stuck in recovery mode and I can find no way out of it. I don't have SHSH blobs. Device has never been jailbroken and uses Gevey for unlock.
