Yes, there was a warning concerning baseband 06.15.00, when 4.2.1 was released with redsn0W & ultrsn0w.
This warning simply stated that you wouldn't be able to downgrade your baseband anymore after the upgrade, and that you would loose the warranty, NOTHING ELSE.
So I trusted them, like many people, I upgraded my 3GS baseband to 06.15.00 to get 4.2.1.
Result after the upgrade :
1) my GPS are screwed-up :-((
2) my batteries drain twice faster than before :-((
3) the push function doesn't work correctly any longer :-((
Questions :
1) why didn't they tell people about theses consequences before?
2) Why didn't they test a minimum before releasing an alpha version (not even a beta !) of jailbreak & desimlock?
Just to mention, SAM doesn't fix the GPS, neither the push function :-(

Ok well im in the same boat, NOt blaming anyone. The Dev team are doing a top job but I upgraded before the message. Not much I can do now.
the phone works a treat just no GPS. This is not the first phone i've unlocked so not new to all this.

the main problem I have at the moment is I have a 3G phone and no sign of a 4.3 release so stuck with no GPS until the Dev tream can come up with a fix.

I normally wait a good month before upgrading to the latest updates to see whats the problems. I just finished doing a 3gs which I can say is fully working so thought I would go ahead and do my 3g. I wish I left alone but thats life.

it clearly stated you could lose the gps, i myself have limited gps fix and usage
im sitting tight awaiting good news

personally id say leave your phone alone if your not happy with the outcome after all its a hack things go wrong, its your choice to mess nobody told you to


id love a quicker fix so i don't have to use my android phone for gps sat nav and endomondo etc but hey ho it will come
