How To Convert An iOS 5.1.1 Tethered Jailbreak To Untethered Using Rocky Racoon 5.1.1

From some time ago we reported for you that iOS hackers finally released iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak which called Absinthe 2.0 which jailbreaks almost all Apple devices which is running on iOS 5.1.1 and these was a great news that everyone was expecting to hear it.. But now those users who are on iOS 5.1.1 are having an Tethered jailbreak, what should they do to run untethered jailbreak on their devices.. Well I would like to introduce for a new jailbreak tweak called “Rocky Racoon 5.1.1 Untether” the tweak will allows you to convert an iOS 5.1.1 Tethered jailbreak to an untethered one, here’s how:




STEP 1: Open Cydia store from your iPhone.

STEP 2: Now Search for “Rocky Racoon 5.1.1 untether” and install it.

STEP 3: Simply your device will automatically reboot and then you are converted from a Tethered jailbreak to untethered one.

NOTE: You could always restore your device, and perform a jailbreak using Absinthe 2.0, but there’s no need to do this since you can just use Rocky Racoon to convert your jailbreak over to untethered! A5 users (iPad 2, iPhone 4S, iPad 3) will not be able to use this initially, because there was no tethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1 to begin with. A4 users (iPhone 4, iPhone 4S) and iPhone 3GS users should be able to take advantage of Rocky Racoon with no issues.
