i phone 4 blank screen after restore
iPhone because an unknown error occurred
i try with restore firmware and costom firmware
allways same error
how to fix this unknown error

just hold power on + home button for 10 seconds

1. be sure to configure your hosts file like this one (this is the last part of my hosts)

# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1 localhost
# ::1 localhost
# 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
# 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com

note: nevermind the color...

2. be sure to put your phone into dfu mode
3. restore it using itunes and wait until it finishes restore
4. use greenpoison to jailbreak it even in emergency mode after jailbreak greenpoison it is still on emergency mode
5. open redsnow 0.9.6b6 and above to hacktivate it
6. voila you have a jailbroken and hacktivated iphone

please let me know if it helps if not let me know if you encounter error please delete the last part of the hosts file the one i colored din restore again if not use another computer without the colored hosts file...

rum tyni umbrela click exit recovry or run redsnow mark just trethood right now (i forget right name) (upside of enter dfu mode) ithink its come all right

- Open redsn0w
- Browse 4.2.1 firmware.
- Select Just Enter pwned DFU mode right now
- Then open iTunes and restore it with Custom firmware.
If you dont have custom just let me know and I upload it for you

Use fixrecovery from tiny umbrella, when phone reboots in DFU

Make sure itunes is off, and run. Should fix this issue

i did it ,but same problem . Blanc screen after reboot
