Member: 1859489 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | 1.What is jailbreaking and why we do this? Jailbreaking refers to a process of removing restrictions built in to the device by the manufacturer (Apple) using 3rd party software put together by hackers interested in doing more with their devices. There are several methods of jailbreaking, and it can get tricky based on the version of hardware and software you are using, but they all generally do the same things: - allow you to install apps that are not available on the Apple App Store - allow these apps permission to use the hardware in ways that approved apps cannot - allow you to unlock your phone and use with a different carrier (optional) 2. How we know that this phone is factory unlock or Not You can check it at IMEI.info There is a good blog with instructions at idownloadblog.com/2012/10/31/how-to-check-iphone-factory-unlocked 3.Which carrier or Modem firmware cant unlock yet. Not sure. There are a lot out there. Where do you live? Maybe someone else can help you with this one. If you are looking at a specific phone on a specific carrier, maybe we can help you more if you provide us with the details. |
