To ensure that your Mac or PC is compatible with your iPhone check the system requirements for your model Identifying features iPhone 5 The model number on the back cover is: A1428 on the iPhone 5 (GSM model) A1429 on the iPhone 5 (GSM and CDMA model) A1442 on the iPhone 5 (CDMA model, China) The front surface is flat and made of glass. The back housing is made of anodized aluminum. There is a SIM tray on the right side that holds a "fourth form factor" (4FF) or "nano-SIM" card. The IMEI is etched on the back housing. iPhone 4S The model number on the back cover is: A1431 on the iPhone 4S (GSM China) A1387 on the iPhone 4S The front and back surfaces are flat and made of glass. There is a stainless steel band around the edges. The volume up and down buttons are marked with a "+" and "-" sign.
