none is faster in 3g some say os 4.1 might be ! better but i don't trust if you r using 3.1.3 use it it is better

version 4.0.1 is better and go fast than latest,as i checked.

3.1.3 IS Better and faster 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 i think they are same if you look at speed

yah 3.1.3 is better i did checked all,4.0.1 and 4.0.2 are same speed,
thatz way downgraded my phone to 3.1.3,
hope apple wil fix the issue,4.0.1 and 4.0.2 is faster than OS4.00,
its my experiance

Tested iOS4.0.0 , 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 on my 3G. All together tooo slow.

I've read a comparison on the 3G between iOS 4.0.x , 4.1 and 3.1.3 - result was that iOS 4.1 is faster than the 4.0.x Version - but 3.1.3 is still faster.

To answer your vote: Apple did not make any changes regarding the OS performance from iOS4.0.1 to 4.0.2. Therefore it's the same.
