i just did it, with my iphone 3gs and iphone 4, both upgraded to 4.0.1,...
upgrade with itunes, jailbreakme.com, and then add source ultrasn0w, and thats it for 3gs, however iphone 4 must syncronize before you update the phone, after that, upgrade your iphone,go to jailbreakme.com and them syncronize again with your saved backup, this will fix facetime issues after jailbreak!!! (if you have problem updating iphone 4 with 4.0.1, you have to modify host file, it happened to me, and thats what i did, after that, modify your host file again)hehehehe

thank to comex, and all dev team, for this awesome jailbreak over internet,!!!!

now im gonna wait for iphone 4 unlock....
by the way, dont be scared about updating to 4.0.1, baseband still the same in all cases, you MUST stay away 4.1, with this version you will update your baseband, so enjoy this night with amazing jailbreak!!!!
